Founded in November 2003, Cayman Finance, formerly known as the Cayman Islands Financial Services Association (CIFSA), was formed to represent Cayman’s financial services industry. The mission of Cayman Finance is to communicate the integrity and quality of financial services in the Cayman Islands to both the global and local market places.

Having reached a critical mass in its membership Cayman Finance is now internationally recognised as a strong, central voice for the industry in Cayman. We are routinely asked to provide the news media and many financial industry conferences, both locally and internationally, up-to-the-minute information on issues affecting Cayman’s financial services sector. The importance of this role has been magnified tremendously by the events of the last 2 years and the international focus on offshore financial centers and their relation to global taxation issues.
Cayman Finance has greatly increased its activity in the areas of public affairs and public relations, and will remain alert and responsive to new challenges that may present themselves. We will be proactive in developing relations with foreign governments and media. The truth remains our strongest ally in attempting to dispel myths and cultivate more accurate perceptions of our financial services around the world.
