We would like to provide our clients and colleagues in the CS Group with an update on the situation

We would like to provide our clients and colleagues in the CS Group with an update on the situation in the Cayman Islands and our business continuity plans. We regret if you have encountered any difficulties in contacting our Cayman office. All business matters related to Credit Suisse Investment Services (Cayman) Limited are continuing to be handled from our Business Continuity facility in Guernsey.

BritCay House, our office building, was damaged during the hurricane and although our suite of offices on the 1st floor was largely unscathed, the roof was damaged and there was substantial water damage to the 2nd and 3rd floors. As all electrical wiring in the building has suffered water damage, it is unlikely that we shall be able to resume operations in this building for some time.

As many of the residents' homes in Grand Cayman were also damaged or destroyed, the remainder of our Cayman Islands staff have been evacuated to Guernsey.

Credit Suisse Investment Services (Cayman) Limited's computer systems are connected for BCP purposes to a server in Guernsey via the Citrix application; therefore, the staff at the BCP site have been able to provide a continuous service to our clients with the minimum of delay. We do not anticipate any difficulties with providing the same level of service to our clients from this alternative location and will be proceeding as planned with all pending new fund launches.

It is not yet possible to assess how long the Company will continue to operate from the BCP site, so pending further notification, all enquiries should be directed to your usual Cayman contacts at the following location: -

Credit Suisse Fund Administration Limited
PO Box 474, Helvetia Court, South Esplanade, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 6AZ
Main Telephone Number 44 1481...
Fax Number 44 1481 714751
All email addresses remain the same
