Premier in Washington to sign tax agreement

The Premier is in Washington to sign Cayman's 15th tax agreement.  The Honorable McKeeva Bush will be signing the agreement tomorrow with Australia. The finance ministry is also finalizing another 15 tax information exchange agreements. The agreements became important last year when Cayman was grey listed by the OECD.
The country is now on the white list, after signing an initial 14 agreements.  The next batch includes agreements with South Africa, Canada, Germany, Italy and Aruba.
