Maitland - the fund administration and wealth management specialist - is to open a new office in the Cayman Islands on 1 September.
This group is currently undergoing rapid expansion with plans for further forays into a number of operations including a fund services offering in the Cayman Islands. Steve Georgala, managing director of Maitland, said, “We will continue to invest in establishing a presence in the Cayman Islands, developing to a full service operation.” The Cayman Islands are continuing to expand as an offshore jurisdiction for hedge fund formation and administration, offshore private equity structures and private and commercial trusts.
