Due to the strengthening of Hurricane Gustav in the Caribbean basin, dms Management Ltd., dms Corporate Services Ltd., and Offshore Business Solutions Ltd. (collectively "dms") have invoked a hurricane alert for our offices in the Cayman Islands. dms has initiated its disaster recovery plan as it is anticipated that this storm will pass on or over us Friday, August 29, 2008. In view of this, the offices may be closed on Friday and will reopen for business once the storm has passed.
dms has a rigorous, established and practiced Hurricane Plan, recovery measures and protocols in place to ensure safety and preparedness. All executives, managers and staff at dms are trained on hurricane preparedness and recovery.
Through a partnership with a world-class, licensed data and disaster recovery and business continuity centre, dms is able to protect its information, store media off-site, and have online backup and recovery, offshore co-location and managed services. These measures also ensure that dms' client information is protected.
This partnership also provides dms with regular advisories regarding alerts, watch and warning on all tropical storms and hurricanes in the Caribbean basin.
Furthermore, dms has established alternate operating locations internationally should the need arise to continue "business as usual" so our client services are not interrupted.
Should you have additional questions, up-to-date information regarding the restoration of our business units and possible alternate operating locations, is available at www.dmsorganization.ky.
Thank you for your ongoing business, support and understanding.
