Ms Camille Stoll-Davey recently wrote a book entitled "Assessing the Playing Field: International Cooperation in Tax Information Exchange" which was published by the Commonwealth Secretariat. The book explores the exchange of information standards and points out the lack of treaty network access for small and developing countries which may have adverse effects on their development.
The Cayman Islands Government Representative in the United Kingdom, Mrs. Jennifer Dilbert and Chairman of the Friends of Cayman Group in London, Mr. John Owen, were recently presented by Ms Stoll-Davey with a copy of the book at a luncheon held in her honour.
Ms Stoll-Davey, who is currently conducting research in financial services law at the University of Oxford, noted that access to a level playfield for trade in services is a critical subject area and it is hoped that there will be more research on this important issue in the future.
