Appleby, the world’s largest provider of offshore legal, fiduciary and administration services, was named “International Legal Team of the Year 2011/12” at the prestigious Step Private Client Awards 2011/12 held in London on Thursday 15 September 2011. The Awards ceremony, held at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel, was attended by over 670 professionals in trusts, estates and private client work.
This win reinforces Appleby’s position as a leading provider of private client & trusts services. The Group has achieved recognition worldwide for its services, offering clients choice, flexibility and practical solutions. In addition to the International Legal Team award, Appleby was also shortlisted for the Owner-Managed Trust Team of the Year by STEP at last night’s ceremony, and the Group was named one of the top 25 most admired companies 2011 by Private Client Practitioner magazine.
The STEP Private Client Awards highlight excellence among private client solicitors/attorneys, accountants, barristers, bankers, trust managers and financial advisers. The awards were judged by a panel of 16 judges supported by a panel of experts which include over 100 industry professionals worldwide. The judges commented that Appleby stood out as being highly client driven, with an emphasis on providing holistic advice encapsulated by a focus on achieving ‘trusted advisor’ status.
