With more than 25 years of trust, corporate, investment management and business experience in the fiduciary and administration sector, with 19 years at CIBC, Mr McMillan had responsibility for the provision of trust, corporate, fund administration, directorship services and investment services to banks, funds and companies.
He also had responsibility for developing new business, risk management and revenue generation.
Mr McMillan earned the Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK) Trustee Diploma in 1990, and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 1999. He is also a former director of Cayman Finance, previously known as the Cayman Islands Financial Services Association.
“I have been in the Cayman Islands financial services sector for almost 20 years,” said Mr McMillan, “and I am delighted to have this opportunity, particularly with the recent launch of Appleby’s Directorship Services.”
