Appleby (Cayman) Ltd. has announced the formation of a dedicated Regulatory and Financial Services Team to provide advice to local and international clients on regulatory matters in the Cayman Islands.

Through the generous donation of one of the trusts administered by Appleby Trust, the Cayman Islands Red Cross recently received $1,000 to help fund their mission to protect vulnerable people in crisis.

Now the world’s largest industry event of its kind, the 1,200+ attendees at the 2011 IMAC Cayman Captive Forum not only benefited from a series of educational tutorials, but also from two full days of informative and interactive panel sessions on topics like handling reinsurance disputes, employing physicians, and cyber liability.

Appleby participated as a major sponsor in the recent Chamber of Commerce Careers, Education, Training and Jobs Expo held Friday 3 February at the University College of the Cayman Islands. The Expo provided an opportunity for students and professionals alike to explore the opportunities available in the job market and for Appleby to share why it is an employer of choice.

The new office, due to open on 2nd April 2012, will deliver fully integrated fiduciary and administration services and operate in tandem with the firm’s Hong Kong office, which has serviced Appleby’s local and international clients in Asia for over 20 years.
